Who Is Holy Spirit?
Who is the Holy Spirit? Read on to examine more about the work of the spirit of God
The Spirit is, first and most important, God’s personal presence.
The Spirit is a person and not merely a force. But, while we begin on page one of the Bible, before creation ever even commenced, we see a depiction of the holy spirit of God hovering over the dark, disordered waters of the earth, equipped to start spreading goodness and creation. In the Bible, any time we see a description of the spirit of God, consisting of what’s depicted in the first few verses of the Bible, the Hebrew word “ruakh” is used. Ruakh can describe an invisible, powerful strength, and important for life, making “The Spirit” a fitting description for the Spirit of God.
Throughout the Bible, we see the Holy Spirit power used to empower people for precise duties.
Joseph is empowered to apprehend and interpret goals, an artist named Betzalel is empowered to create beautiful things for the tabernacle, and a set of humans – the prophets – are empowered to deliver messages from God to the people of Israel and to see what’s occurring from God’s point of view.
The prophets, even though, had been capable of see a trouble. While God’s spirit had created a great and best world, people had given in to evil and unleashed chaos into it through their injustice. In a way, mankind had back the earth to the darkish, disordered state that it was in while the spirit of God was first soaring over it.
Addressing this hassle, the prophets stated that the spirit of God could come once again, just like it had in Genesis, this time to transform the human heart and empower humans to truly love God and others. It is through the life of Jesus that God carries out this return of His spirit.
At the beginning of Christ’s task, there’s this beautiful scene where He is being baptized in the Jordan River. The Holy Ghost, God’s spirit, comes down on Him in the form of a dove and empowers Him to start his mission of recovery the human condition and starting a brand new creation. We see this happen while He is going out and heals people and forgives them for their sins.

The Holy Spirit has been empowering his followers from the beginning.
Christ, empowered by the spirit of God, is going at some stage in the world fixing the chaos and disease that mankind had delivered to it.
Of course, the spiritual leaders of the time see those moves as a risk, and they have Jesus killed. Still, though, God’s spirit is at work. When the disciples saw that Jesus had risen from the grave, they proclaimed that He glowed with the spirit of God.
When Jesus appeared to His closest followers, He breathed into them the Holy Spirit, empowering them too to unfold God’s goodness at some point of the world. Soon after that, God’s spirit comes over all of His followers. Today, via Christ and the power He has given His followers, God’s spirit maintains to hover over a darkish and chaotic world, slowly restore it and working in the direction of the day while it’s far restored to its former glory.
